A New Way To Recycle
Second Harvest Farms utilizes the latest techniques to divert millions of gallons of septage from our ever-growing landfills and precious water supplies and uses them to produce healthy, nutrient-dense feed for today’s ag producers.
Growing Something Good
Hay
/hā/ Hay is grass, legumes, or other herbaceous plants that have been cut and dried to be stored for use as animal fodder, particularly for large grazing animals raised as livestock, such as cattle, horses, goats, and sheep. Second Harvest Farms specializes in coastal bermuda hay in the warmer months and winter rye when it cools off.

Recycling The Leftovers
Second Harvest Farms focuses on making use of what you don’t. By treating wastewater from area septic service companies, we are able to infuse dense levels of nutrients into our farm’s soil and crops to grow outstanding hay for animal consumption. Happy hay; happy cows.
